The Lit & Phil’s Annual General Meeting is usually held in May but this year will take place on Wednesday 14 October, 6pm in the Lecture Room of the Lit & Phil. (Please note change of venue from previously advertised).
Ordinary & named Family Members may attend, and face coverings MUST be worn please (unless you are exempt).
To comply with the Government’s Covid safety guidance, the Lecture Room can seat only 49 (48 members plus one staff). If you intend to attend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, phone 0191 232 0192 or tell the desk as early as you possibly can.
Invitation to stand: Board Elections 2020
We have twelve Trustees, elected by the Society’s Ordinary and Family Members. Five vacancies have to be filled at this AGM.
The nomination period is now closed. We have had an overwhelming response this year, voting is now open and the five successful candidates will be announced by our Chairman at the AGM.
Ordinary Members and named Family Members can vote. All will receive their ballot papers and candidate statements (either by email or post) this week. If for any reason you are expecting to receive yours and they haven't arrived, please contact us on email@example.com and we will get them straight to you.
