An event to mark the publication by Oxford University Press of a first edition of the letters of Basil Bunting - one of the major modernist poets of the twentieth century and a passionate advocate of Northumbrian identity. Editor of the letters Dr Alex Niven of Newcastle University will talk about the book and Tom Pickard - Bunting's great friend and supporter - will give a poetry reading.
