Comfortable Home Life during WWII

A Lit & Phil lecture via Zoom

Margaret Bozic

Tuesday 28 September 6pm

In this talk Lit & Phil member Margaret Bozic will describe home life in a northern market town based on her Grandmother’s diaries. It will include a description of the blackout, the town’s reception of wartime evacuees, food rationing and local entertainment. Margaret’s aim is to provide an interesting and detailed snapshot of a relatively sparsely chronicled aspect of wartime social history.

'Pay what you wish'
