An IRON Press launch
The newest collection from IRON Press, REBIRTH is a poetry conversation between a mother and a daughter. During the physical separation of lockdown, Fran Edwards and Jennifer Jones began exploring how they related the one to the other. They spoke to each other through poetry, uncovering, holding and feeling all the complexities that can come from mother-daughter relationships.
Both writers live in the North of England and they will be reading from the collection at the Lit & Phil in Newcastle.
Admission is free and there will be live music from Dylan Mortimer.
