Pudding Chare Festival | Young Musicians Workshop Concert

Young Musicians’ Showcase

Taking its name from the winding lane that stands opposite the Lit & Phil, the Pudding Chare Music Festival celebrates the rich chamber music repertoire each Summer, showcasing young classical musicians from the North East and further afield who are currently training at conservatoires and universities around the country.

During the festival week, talented teenage musicians from the local area receive coaching from the festival musicians and this concert is the culmination of their hard work and learning

Programme to feature:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Flute Quartet no. 1 in D major K285
Zoltán Kodály: Duo for Violin and Cello, op. 7
Alexander Glazunov: Novelettes for String Quartet

The Pudding Chare Festival is grateful for the Community Foundation and Hadrian Trust for their continued support as well as our individual sponsor Mr England.
