A talk with Newcastle author Ken Smith
Throughout much of the Northumberland and Durham Coalfield there are numerous memorials to the coal miners and their collieries.
In this illustrated talk Newcastle author throws the spotlight on a selection of these tributes, including memorials to those men and boys who lost their lives in the many pit disasters.
