Danish vocalist Sara Oschlag is a familiar voice on the British jazz scene. A long-time resident of Brighton, Sara has appeared at innumerable jazz clubs and festivals: Brighton to Hexham, to the international stage (Istanbul, Lithuania, Seoul). In possession of an enviable vocal range, inspired by Shirley Horn, Anita O’Day, Nancy Wilson and others, Sara has shared a stage with Alan Barnes, Benny Benack III, Pete Long and many others. Sara makes her Lit & Phil debut in the company of renowned bassist Arnie Somogyi (Scott Hamilton, Arturo Sandoval, Stan Tracey, film, radio, tv), Joe Steels (guitar) and John Hirst (drums).
