Lunchtime Jazz | JAZZMAIN

Friday 21st February 2025  | 1pm

JazzMain is one of Scotland’s enduring outfits. Boasting the same personnel for more than twenty years, the quartet has performed at jazz clubs and festivals, home and abroad. Led by tenor saxophonist Nick Gould, JazzMain takes inspiration from the roster of legendary musicians (including Benny Golson, Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins) who recorded for Blue Note Records.

Based in Edinburgh, the band continues to tour widely, appearing at the Cork Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Switzerland, and, closer to home, Newcastle Jazz Festival. In addition to putting in the miles on the road, JazzMain’s annual residency at the Jazz Bar is one of the highlights of the Edinburgh Fringe.
