Classics Fest 2025 Exhibition | Ancient Worlds in Book Art

Monday 12th May – Tuesday 20th May

Ancient Worlds in Book Art

ClassicsFest is made possible by the generous support of The Community Foundation Tyne & Wear andNorthumberland – Newcastle Culture Investment Fund; The David Family Foundation; The Pen & Palette Club Fund within the North East Fund for the Arts; Classics for All; The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Newcastle University. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Join us to hear from the winning writers of our competition and debate with them and our festival contributors about the issues they and the festival itself have raised. Your chance to challenge the writers and presenters, to comment on what you have heard during the festival and perhaps, to make your own case for or against Cicero. With Dr Marta Garcia-Morcillo, Dr. Vittorio Bufacchi and Dr Kathryn Tempest.
