Bicentenary Celebrations Lecture | Egyptian Art

Monday 16th June 2025  | 6pm

Lectures in association with the North East Ancient Egypt Society.

Presented by Barbara Atkinson.

The Lit & Phil has presented many lectures over the years on various aspects of Ancient Egypt. We are delighted that the NEAES would like to join us as we celebrate the bicentenary of our building.

The main emphasis of this talk will focus on Egyptian Tomb Painting.  We will look at the distinctive art types, techniques and principles used to decorate an Egyptian Tomb.
