A collection of beautiful ballads about the power of love, even beyond death.
Poppy Holden trained as a singer at the Royal College of Music, and researched border ballads for a PhD at Newcastle University, where she was Head of Vocal Studies. She has a thriving teaching practice in Newcastle upon Tyne, and her talks about border ballads are issued as books illustrated by Chris Daunt, president of the Society of Wood Engravers.
In Unquiet Graves, Poppy Holden sings and discusses her latest collection of beautiful ballads. She explores the power of love, which can sometimes be so strong that the loved one is recalled from the grave.
