Rome Unpacked £25

The Cultural Series

This autumn we host our inaugural Cultural Series in partnership with North East Times magazine, comprising a trio of high-profile events Oct-Dec ‘19. We will play host to famous names from the worlds of literature, academia, politics and TV including David Olusoga, Alexander McCall Smith and Andrew Graham-Dixon.

Rome Unpacked with Andrew Graham-Dixon

The finalé event in the Series brings us a tantalising lecture with leading art critic, journalist, TV presenter, novelist, lecturer, educationalist and friend of the Society,  Andrew Graham-Dixon.   Andrew will present ‘Rome Unpacked’, sharing his love of Rome and all things Roman in a wide-ranging talk about the joys and treasures of the Eternal City.  He will take his audience on an insider’s tour of some of the most memorable works of art and architecture in Rome, including many sights most definitely not on the usual tourist itinerary.
