Shadow Wars: The Secret Struggle of the Middle East FREE

Christopher is the author of several acclaimed books on the Middle East, including Dubai: The Vulnerability of Success, After the Sheikhs, and, most recently, the best-selling Shadow Wars: The Secret Struggle for the Middle East. His essays have appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, the New Statesman and numerous other publications. He has taught at universities in the United Arab Emirates and Japan, and is currently a reader at Durham University. He holds degrees from Kings College, Cambridge and St. Andrews and is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and the Royal United Services Institute.
