Sarah Stovell has written two novels but her first psychological thriller Exquisite, set in the Lake District, is due to be published this Summer. Sarah also lectures in Creative Writing. Lilja Sigurðardóttir is an Icelandic crime-writer and playwright. The latest of her four crime novels, Implicated has been shortlisted for Iceland’s 2017 crime fiction awards. The first book in the series, Trapped was sold internationally and film rights to the story have been sold. David Swatling’s debut psychological thriller Calvin’s Head was a 2015 Lambda Literary Award Finalist. David moved from theatre into radio, and more recently, into writing. David is also managing editor of The Big Thrill, an online magazine of International Thriller Writers.

Jacky Collins is Newcastle Noir’s Programme Director.
