Great Lines Exhibition FREE

The Great Lines Exhibition with Karen Rann

This exhibition follows the history of the invention of contour lines on maps, inspired by their Newcastle born inventor Charles Hutton.

Exploring material held in the Lit & Phil plus other archives here and abroad, the exhibition tells a curious story of their invention through maps and models, artworks and books.
