Join poet Lisa Matthews and visual artist Melanie Ashby in an exploration and unearthing of sights, sounds, poems and artworks from Northumberland’s coastline. They will be launching a new print publication – a poetic-visual essay – the result of a year-long collaboration spent by the North Sea creating a living journal and artwork-in-progress: A Year in Beadnell. Their environmental journey and consequent celebration of our coastal wilderness has been inspired by the writings of US marine biologist Rachel Carson.
Lisa Matthews and Melanie Ashby are joined by visiting artists Jo Colley, Linda France and Monkfish Productions
Doors open 6.30pm. Till 9.00pm
