Clare Crinson (flute) and Alison Gill, (piano)

Alongside her performance schedule Clare is also the director of Music at Choristers School Durham. . A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, Clare completed her Masters Degree at Durham University where she teaches flute.

Alison Gill is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, specialising as an accompanist and répétiteur. Whilst at the RAM she made her Wigmore Hall debut, filmed for Channel 4, and was chosen as one of ten pianists to perform alongside Michael Nyman and Gavin Bryars in Satie’s 19 hour work Vexations, taking place in the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern.

They will be performing Lili Boulanger’s Nocturne pour violon et piano; Chaminade’s, Flute Concertino in D major, Op. 107 and Amy Beach’s Sonata in A minor, Op.34
